In order for the fully adhered single ply waterproofing to perform at its best, the carrier is required to provide different movement characteristics. For this, a glass fiber mat coated on both sides with plastisol is used. Danosa HS and HSF have high resistance qualities to low and high temperatures and are designed to easily accommodate cyclic structural movement whilst remaining durable and flexible.

Danosa HS and HSF membranes are suitable for roofs where mechanical fixing is not an option or is undesirable. It is semi permeable to water vapour, and so provides an ideal solution to roof areas which experience interstitial condensation, or where it is considered a high risk.

Danosa HS and HSF can be supplied and installed as a complete system, this includes vapour barrier, insulation and ancillary products.

Similar to the installation of the Danosa HS (mechanically fixed roofing system), Danosa HS and HSF membranes are installed through a method involving the laying out of 1 or 2m wide rolls with side and end overlaps of additional membrane. An even coat of Danosa Membrane Adhesive is applied to the membrane and to the surface. The laps are then heat welded using semi-automatic hot air welders to form a homogeneous seam. In inverted or ballasted roof format, Danosa HS/HSF can be laid loose with laps subsequently welded.
